In Brattleboro, the circus is always in town. Well, the New England Center for Circus Arts is, which means performances and circus education are at an arm’s reach. The center has both adult and youth programs, so parents and kids alike can try their hand at classic circus arts, like the flying trapeze. If swinging in the air isn’t your thing, there’s also flexibility, juggling and circus fitness classes.

While in-person lessons and performances are on hold, the center is offering virtual classes, as well as private one-on-one lessons. The classes are booked on a “pay-as-you-can” system, and lessons can be adjusted to whatever equipment you have, even if that’s none at all.

UPDATE : NECCA is currently offering assigned training times, private lessons, and reduced enrollment in-person session classes in addition to its virtual classes, lessons and programs.
